Automatic Discount Per Product Weight Not Total Weight

Hello! I have Automatic Discounts applied to my shop with tiered bulk weight discounts on all products. Right now, for example, there is a discount at 50 pounds. If someone orders 40 pounds of one product and 10 pounds of another product - the discount is applied to the total 60 pounds ordered. Can this be set instead to only apply to those products reaching that discounted weight? In this case - the 40 pounds of product. Thanks!!
